Washburn D10 = best deal around under $500

I like Yamaha acoustics as well - good bang for the buck

A few Fretters have SX acoustics from rondomusic.com that they like, and they are pretty inexpensive

You can buy from the Rocket man with 100% confidence. That Epi is a good deal.

Hard to make suggestions as I don't know what sound you are going after. Certainly a washie D10S is a good all around guitar. But I assume you want a pickup and probably on board E.Q. More reason to look hard at Rockets Epi. The cutaway version of the D10S would also be worth looking at. Another good Washie option is the thin body, EA series. I have a EA20 (Not for sale) and it's a great stage guitar. Has a bit of an electric feel to it. Mine has the older Equis II preamp system. The newer versions have the better B-Band system.
