More College Ball
Thought of few of the college football fans might get a kick out of this.
As part time residents of Annapolis, Mrs Keel and I have always wanted, but never been able, to see a Navy home game. Yesterday we finally got our chance. Navy vs. Rutgers, beautiful warm day. Total spur of the moment.
Now Navy football is not Florida, Nebraska, Ohio State or the usual powerhouses. But it was a great game. A come from behind victory, after and 0 and 2 season start.
Part of the real fun at these games are all the Navy traditions. The entire brigade (4,000) of midshipman march into the stadium before kickoff. They assemble by company on the field, then in unison turn to face the visitors side and chant the name of the opposing team. The entire brigade (together in the stadium) stands for the entire game. After each Navy score the plebs run down onto the field and do push ups.
Couple of pics to give you an idea of things.

There's also a negative side."
