Default How would a Seymour Duncan 1/4 lb'r sound on an affinity bass?

Any ideas how a set of SD quarter pounders would sound on an affinity P bass? I imagine super awesome.

Anybody use these pups and have any comments?

    Thanks,

There are a bunch of quarter pounder threads on TalkBass.com. From what I've read, it's a pretty hot pickup, so expect more output. It's a more modern than vintage sounding pup. A lot of folks like them. Some might argue that it'd be overkill in an Affinity bass, but hey if you like the bass otherwise, go for it!

I had one once in a Yamaha bass I used to own. A vast improvement over the cheap stock pickup it had. It definately added to the P Bass sound. I would recommend one.
