    Today (Oct 3) was the birth date of Stevie Ray Vaughan (b. 1954).

    Seems a good day to pull some SRV out of the collection and give it a spin and/or to pick up your electrics and play some blues.

    I always like to think he's up there somewhere trading licks with Hendrix and Albert King. Where the intonation is always perfect and a string never breaks, no matter how far you bend it!! RIP, Stevie. Love you, man!!

    I was lucky enough to see SRV twice in concert before he died...once with Jeff Beck. It is a sad shame hes gone.

    This is my current fav SRV song/clip, well its not his, but he is playing along with it
