Default Dream 90's vs Mean 90's

Looking to replace a rather dark sounding humbucking neck pickup on a Dean with something brighter, thinking the GFS units may be just the thing... any experience with either or both? looking for bright twang with that P-90 growl when overdriven... leaning toward the dreams but

We've done four already, but now we're steady, and then they went one-two-three-four....

Same issue. Solved it with the Dream 90. Here it is again, cuz I just love showing off this pic

The Dream 90 gives that twangy/chimey tone, but will growl when pushed.

Here's a quick and dirty clip I did a while back. It's the Dream 90 above thru (I think) a 59 Bassman model, slightly overdriven...

    Hope this helps
