    Default Dream 90's vs Mean 90's

    Looking to replace a rather dark sounding humbucking neck pickup on a Dean with something brighter, thinking the GFS units may be just the thing... any experience with either or both? looking for bright twang with that P-90 growl when overdriven... leaning toward the dreams but

    Same issue. Solved it with the Dream 90. Here it is again, cuz I just love showing off this pic



    The Dream 90 gives that twangy/chimey tone, but will growl when pushed.

    Here's a quick and dirty clip I did a while back. It's the Dream 90 above thru (I think) a 59 Bassman model, slightly overdriven...
