Default GNR - Album release - it's coming

Couldn't believe what I was reading, but it seems as if GNR finally put out Chinese Democracy in November. It took them 9 years. The first track sounds very modern. Hopefully Axl can convince his old mates of returning and forgetting about the persoanl issues.

Honsetly, I have no high expectations. I loved old GNR! Saw them live in New Jersey in 1992 and it was a great concert.

It's already been in heavy airplay on the local NYC rock radio stations. 15 years have passed since the last G'N'R album was released - this even surpasses Def Leppard for length of time between recordings

I find it just so so and uneventful. Perhaps it it was released a decade ago I'd have found it to be different. SPIN magazine give it a 3 out of 5 stars. You can google the review if you wish.

Jimi, There have been several interviews with Slash in which he stated that he just couldn't work with Axl on numerous attempts to reform. It's really Axl who seems to have the issues and there'd be more likely a chance at reformation if this album fails to make waves after all the time and money put into it.

I also saw them in New Jersey in '92 and even back in '89 when they played Giants Stadium as the opening act for Aerosmith and Deep Purple. The original G'N'R were and always will be my favorite hard rocking band of the late 80s/90s. They practically etched the soundtracks to my life at the time.

Just so long as I don't have to listen to Axl Rose's album to get my free soda I'll be happy. I refuse to call this band Guns n Roses.
