    Default Germany's new Jazz star

Well it's funny to see how Torsten Goods - one of the new German Jazz and Swing Stars developped. With 14 he started playing, with 18 he went to New York to study with Jim Hall. Jim shaped him and sent him beack to Germany to become a rising star with a major deal. Below are two videos how metal shredding kid became a jazzplayer within a few years. The 2nd video is shot by German tv right after he returned from NY.

I hope you enjoy the vids :-)

I really like this guy's playing. (the second video) He has all the makings of the next Jazz guitar hero, and he sings too, which sets him apart.

It's funny to see how he started as a shred player with all those chops. But then you see him in the second video and he has all the cool phrasing down and a completely different playing style.
