    Default Fender 60th P Bass Extra Switch

    Can someone tell me what the extra switch on the fender P Bass 60th does if I read right it replaced the tone switch with some sort of double pot type switch ?? Setting up my sons Squire P Bass and a good time to add the switch if it would help???

    Only available on the 60th Anniversary American P Bass, the S-1 switching circuitry allows you to switch the pickups from series to parallel mode. According to Fender's web site, the MiM 60th model does not have this feature.
