    Default Acoustic Sounds Electric

Went to a birthday party the other nite at a restaurant (our crowd took up a small room) and the restaurant hired a band for the evening. Initially, I couldn't see the band from my seat and they start and I hear some acoustic guitars and then a guy playing lead on an electric. Or, so I thought.
I checked the band out, two Ovation acoustics and NO electric guitar. Turns out the Ovations were plugged into amps (no biggie there) but the one guitar player was hooked into 5 different pedals. And, that's how he sounded like an electric guitar!!! Amazing!!. He definitely had both a reverb and a tremolo pedal. He must have had a tubescreamer of some sort to get his electric sound. He had an OD pedal too. Pretty interesting sound, not a bad sounding band either.

These days there are lots of options for a variety of tones. Here's an interesting guitar - http://www.taylorguitars.com/guitars...ric/Models/T5/

The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.
