    I was looking down in the "Top 10 Stats" and saw this thread. I didn't realize it was there.

    So, it has now been a little over six months and I thought I would note.

    I do not regret a single aspect of my choice to change jobs. I like the company, the people I work with, and most things about it (except that getting up early thing). I usually get home by 4:00, the ride is short and the work is challenging and interesting.

    The economy has a lot of us worried, but I've survived a lay-off and we have a lot of new business we are working on. One project will result in about $16 mil in annual sales and will most likely become its own division. A number of other projects in the works as well, with visits from Goodrich and Gulfstream on a daily basis and Bombardier very interested in moving some work to our company. The early activity doesn't generate huge amount of money, but it certainly makes the future look bright.
