One of my strats is an Am-Dlx HSS. I really like the tones i can muster from the SCN's. They are a little darker than a true single coil but through a blackface amp they hold their own. Let's hear what you think. Mike

Yep, I have the same guitar and love the sound of the SCN's. I also love the versatility the HSS setup gives me, I can pretty much get close to any tone I want with maybe the exception of a hollowbody tone.
