They're pretty cool. Takes up a lot of pedalboard though. The rotary simulator in the VOX AD amps is fairly neat, I'd assume the one in the Tonelab is more or less the same. Then there's the Danelectro Rocky Road mini-pedal.

Electric: Fat strat > Korg PB > TS7 > DS1 > DD-20 > Cube 60 (Fender model)
Acoustic: Guitar > microphone > audience
I had one in high school and it was stolen. Not too bad.
