    If this works as good as they say, then it truly could be a product for me!
    I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

    Isolation boxes are a hugely popular in home studios .(I have one ,and love it)
    check around the net their are a few sites dedicated to building your own.
    some brands can be quite expensive.

    their are some brilliant ideas on using cheap existing products to make one from that work just as well

    I've seen a few of these type of devices here and there. Would be handy for home recording for sure.

    I wonder how much better it would work than a software speaker/mic emulation?

    but OUCH the price of that thing!

    Do you get standing wave problems due to the fact that the sound cannot escape?

    I've often wondered about the same thing, but for headphone practice.

    Too rich for my blood, but a miked up tube amp in a box from which very little sound escapes would great.
    I pick a moon dog.
