Default The imac is dead - LONG LIVE THE IMAC!

My dear old friend (the iMac) died a couple of days ago, and I havent been able to log in to the fret since then.

The iMac shut down itself during a brownout and I couldnt get it to reboot after that...

    But....

I have now a new partner in crime with a lovely aluminium finish.
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

I was convinced they never die - this comes as disheartening news and shatters my dreams.

It was a 2005 model but it needed a new motherboard which costs more than I would like to invest in a three year old computer.

I have a very similar one in aluminum, now one year old at home. It is what I record on. My paralegal uses the white model otherwise much like it at work, and I am on the lampshade style G4 right now. We have a grape colored original style one at my mother-in-law's that gets used sometimes for light internet and whatnot. Good machines! :

That grape "football" iMac must be the contemporary of a Pentium II Windows machine. And they say Macs are expensive :
