    Default Keystone Pickups

    Hi all,

As I've mentioned in other threads, I'm having a tele-strat built -- a tele body with strat pups and strat trem. As I'm only 16, work full-time for my parents' company and am already spending a lot of money on the guitar itself, how do you all think Keystones would go in it?

I love single-coils, I play a lot of blues, a bit of Jazz and some rock -- Hendrix/SRV/Gilmour/Knopfler is a fair description of what I play. I've heard only good things about these, but wanted some opinions having told you all where they'd be going.

    Cheers.

I've never heard them personally, but I've read nothing but good things about them. A guy on the Squier '51 forum put some in a Tele he built. The clips he posted sounded great.

Anything from Bill should be good sounding!

This cat explains there is a toggle and a capacitor added, but does not explain what that does for the guitar....can anyone shed some light?
