Default New guy all around here.

Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I am a college student who has been playing drums for over ten years, and only a few years ago began playing guitar. Since then I've written quite a few songs, and have been playing guitar more and more. I was looking around for some advice on guitar purchasing and stumbled across this site, and, after looking around, decided that it wouldn't be a bad idea to join. So hey there.
It's got six strings, right? What more do you need to know?
