Nice, congrats!
The short - my dad had an old Pentax Spotmatic. I used it a few times in the 80s at uni for a class. He gave it to me about a week ago. Some nice lenses came with it, my favorite being a 40+ year old Super-Takumar 50mm 1.4. I just recently received an adapter for M42 to EOS and took a few test shots, all in manual (no AF). I was amazed at the images. The glass is crazy sharp and the modern equivalent would be very pricey - think Canon L prices. The bokeh this lens produces wide open is off the hook.

Focus in both instances was on the pistils.
Nice, congrats!
The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.

Nice one. I've been meaning to get an FD to EF adaptor to try out a few old school Canon lenses I have (including a 50mm f1.4). I have an AE-1 that I loved shooting, but film is such a drama these days.
Nice. The old Takumar 50/1.4 is a great lens. I have an adapter for my OM lenses to micro 4/3 but the Olympus 45/1.8 kind of stopped me using it. Shame, because the Oly 50/1.8 (aka see through body cap) is a little gem.
