    FINALLY we can tell!

BG is through her first trimester.

We have another guitar player on the way.

We're soon to be a "poppy and cookie"... No "grandma" business...

Now wait a doggone minute.......you darn Texans are confusin' me.

The quote above sounds like Shiner will be "poppy" and CB "cookie"...............then MARNOLD asks why does Shiner want to be known as "cookie"? (OK, honest mistake)........and then CB answers "who knows".

SAY WHAT? So, CB will be "poppy"?????? Somebody's got some 'splainin' to do.

Actually, it's a Michigander/Wisconsinite (aka me) that's confusin' you. I'm giving Shiner grief and CB was playing along.

Although Shiner does wear rather loud shirts. Hmmm...

    Thanks again, guys!

"Poppy" has always been the kids' pet name for Shiner.

BG asked me a year ago what I wanted to be called. Kinda floored me; had never thought about it.

Didn't feel like any of the conventional names fit... Made up a non-conventional "short list".

She liked "cookie" and there you go.

Of course, the child may come up with names for you. My cousin's son calls his grandparents Guy and Gi.
