I really like that bass and the Triplebucker in general. My Marauder has the Triplebucker and I like all of the settings. I think the Triplebucker is a great pickup.
This one has been getting very mixed reviews on its looks over on Talkbass.
I rather like it, but won't be buying one because I'm really set for basses.

The triple-bucker seems a copy from the Ibanez ATK. However, the Fender has a much thinner neck than the ATK which I'd prefer.
I think it's a pretty nifty idea all around.

Nice! What's not to like?
I also think that the Musicman-style truss rod wheel is pretty neat.
That's pretty cool. I don't like skinny necks, but it seems neat. Is there any tone adjustment or is it just volume and the pickup selector? The design reminds me of something...maybe a Les Paul Jr.?

Without a word of a lie, this is the first bass I've seen that got me thinking: "Damn, I should learn to play bass!"
Gorgeous and smooth. Modern but classic. All-round excellent.
You heard it first, folks--my first case of bass GAS!
Nothing is anything until it is written. After that, it's everything.

Let's up the GAS, shall we?
GDamn! How cool is that 5-position pickup selector knob?
I think the Triplebucker is a welcome addition. Five positions with zero clutter. The tonal palette may not be that broad, quite subtle really, but I do prefer the offset "Jr." vibe you get with that single pup and pickguard combo.

Eric, I haven't even seen one in the stores yet. While I think it's a pretty cool looking bass and I like the pickup configuration, I doubt that I'll even try one out since I'm content with what I have.
Also coming down the pike are bunch of new Squier Vintage Modified basses including a Cabronita, 5-string P-bass, new colors of 5-string jazz, and a P/J.
