    Warren those are with a flash on with macro lense. It is really dark purple stain and a blackburst edge.Ill get more pics soon .Sound is freaking awesome!!!:

    EDIT:Here it is from a foot or two.It is almost like colorshifting paint sometimes black othertimes purple or both!

    Carvin sure does know how to put a guitar together. That purple burst is purty.

    No no ive got a x100b fullstack(celestions) from 84 with a early 90's carpeted head that has the factory hotrod added!! Not sure if the drive amp is the one strum is thinking of but I already passed that on as a profit Pic of chase(carvin ct4 and amp)

    I like your choice of options on that one man! The Purple looks good on the ash body too. It should be a killer player the only thing I would have done differently is the neck pickup. I can't stand the M22V those only come in around 7 K in DC resistance and tapped are down below 4K. That's a pretty doggone weak neck pickup for a metal styled ax. I like the M22N MUCH better in particular with the SD.

    I'm not much of a fan of pointy guitars in general, but that's a beauty, Mud. And purple is my favorite color.... :
