Wow!!!!!
What a freakin' beaut!
I'm a big fan of vintage Swedish guitars Levin and Bjärton, distributed in North America under the brands Goya, Hagström, España and Fender (as far as acoustics are concerned - there may be other brands yet in electrics).
Here's the Bjärton Isabella.

I pick a moon dog.
I didn't know about Bjarton. I know Levin are fine and dandy instruments, no doubt. Good topic! :
The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.
Master Guitar Academy - I also teach via SKYPE.
Most Hagström sold here were made by Bjärton, as well as some Italian Crucianelli on the electric side if I'm not mistaken.Originally Posted by Robert

And does it ever feel good to be able to talk about other brands without checking over your shoulder.
(I haven't gotten over the whole thing yet, as you can tell...)
Me too. It looks like a snowflake landed inside a circle of needlepoint hearts.Originally Posted by luvmyshiner

This sound hole insert is original to the guitar but I presume you know similar inserts are available (I forgot their names).
I can't recall where they were sold, but they are...

Look for "soundhole cover", "soundhole plug", "lute mute", "feedback buster", etc.
Nice link. Cool straps, too. Thanks.

Hey SPT! Is that a nylon string guitar?

Outside of a dog, a guitar is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to play guitar!
Washburn J28SCEDL - Ambrose
Kramer Fat Strat - Elroy
I've drifted away from acoustic, but that makes me think of drifting back. Is that neck wide or is it the photo that makes it appear that way?

Pretty Guitar.
This is indeed a nylon strings classical guitar, with a 2 inch wide neck, flat fretboard, flat finish. It was bought new in early 82 by the original owner so it has to be a bit older than that.
