Hey that sounds awesome! I want one too!
That would be me! ude:
I think I got some nice single coil Tele tones in between the freak sounds... I was using the Boss Blues Driver BD-2 for overdrive on this clip. Amp was the usual suspect, the Reverend Hellhound.
I am using the Octave 2 up.

I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
hah..I caught this when you first put it up through subscription... I swear ya give a kid a toy..no telling what he might come up with!!
You surely looked to be having a good time with it... strange device indeed..

Is that a bona fide red Whammy pedal? If it is, then I guess my EX-7 has the same tracking problems as the original (as noted on the chords more so than the single notes).

Yes it is the red one. These type of pedals never work on chords, they are for single note stuff. Still lotsa fun to play with!
Does the EX-7 do 2 octave up and 1 octave up?

Yep, it does (from left to right on the dial): detune, 2nd Up > M3rd Up, 5th Up, Octave Up, 2 Octaves Up, Octave Down > Octave Up, Reverse 2nd Down.Originally Posted by Robert
Obviously it is not as flexible as the red whammy, but it has the settings that are probably used most often. I was disappointed that it didn't include the "Dive Bomb" setting on newer whammys even though the manual and ads mention "accurate dive bombs."

I had the Digitech Whammy, too in 2001, when I recorded an album wiht a Nu Metal band.
My bandmates at that time called it "the box of mices".
After the recordings I have sold it as I had no use for it. Couldn't find a place for it in my rock nor in my blues band.
