i haven't....but it looks interesting....you could go with a lower end digitech modeler for about 90 bucks or so with a lot more options.

I'm looking for a low cost audio interface to record my guitar onto Garageband on my Mac notebook. Does anyone have any experience with the MXL iBooster?
Pros?
Cons?

Never seen that one before. How about a Line Toneport GX? Great fun with Gearbox!
The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.

I love my toneport and the GX seems like a good way to go if you don't need the extra inputs.

Yeah.....I've been looking at the Toneport as well. Will prob end up getting one as they seem to be just what I need and everyone that has one raves about it.
Just ran across the MXL iBooster and wanted to see if anyone had used it.
Thanks for the input guys :

+1 on the Toneport GX, as long as your system specs are high enough for it. It's the gearbox amp & effects software that makes it really worth the price.

some of this posted in another thread but this part fits here as well....
after the lesson i was hanging out with my friend ron (the owner) who both tim and iago have met and i was telling him that now that i was living in a townhouse cranking amps and playing late at night were tough so we started looking at modeling guitar processors....well....i ended up leaving with a digitech rp250
i am going to play with it this week and see if i want to get it or not. one thing i like about it is that you use knobs to adjust settings instead of little push buttons!....the beauty is that i am finally redoing his website so i can barter it as part of the payment (same way i am getting my lessons). it is a pretty cool setup with usb connectivity that interfaces with garage band and also has a line in so i can play backing tracks from my ipod through it to practice with.
if i like it i will probably sell the vox ad30vt and run this through a cab when i don't want to use headphones
