I'm sure I've seen that avatar somewhere before. It was animated. Can't remember where I saw it. Where did you find that?

It is really cool looking, I might add. But I'm positive I've seen it somewhere before. On some valvetronix "chromie" site I think, back when I wanted a AD60VTX.

Now I'm looking forward to the Black Diamond VOX that is supposed to address some of the inherent design concerns expressed by some experts regarding the AD....VTX's and AD....VT's.

Sorry Duff.....can't remember where I got the avatar, but it did come off another guitar discussion board and yes, it was animated so it looks like the cat is actually playing the guitar and tapping his paw to keep the beat :

Sticking to the subject matter here are 2 clips of the Squier Classic Vibe 50s Tele. First lick is on the bridge pickup and the second lick which is the same lick as the first is both bridge and neck pickup in the middle switch position. Yeah I botched that last ending. :



The second clip is on the neck pickup. Same lick.

Yeah it's a bad Monkey and it's sitting on top of the woodstove behind the amp. As is the Ross Compressor which you can't see and the Marshall's channel switch footpedal and the Digiverb. These aren't connected to anything they're just sitting on the stove.

Well in about 3 days or so I should have a really slick distortion pedal in hand! Any amount of gain on the Tele with those Alnico IIIs sound really cool. A much different sound than the other Tele I had.

Oh man, I love those killer tones. The highs punctuated by the lows, esp. on the bridge slay me. I like how you can see the guitar reflected in the panel of the amph too. I like that neck pup sound more than I expected too. I guess I thought the neck pup was supposed to be the weak link for teles, but I thought that sounded good. My second favorite after the bridge. :

It is hard to tell with the likes of him. He had that pick of a CV 50s strat in his avatar a week or so ago too, and who knows why that was. I would try to investigate in a coupla weeks when I go visit, but he has so many freeking guitars, I could miss one or two in the pile. :
