Hi f1point7,
Yes, I'm big on travel guitars too. I'm not familiar with this Martin that you have. I love Martins, by the way, so I'm sure that this one is really nice.
Since I travel regularly for my work, I bought a Baby Taylor about 5 years ago for a travel-sized guitar. It sounds amazingly good and plays in tune, etc. I have even thought about recording with it because it has a nice tone. As of late I've missed having my electric to practice with when I'm on the road, and I've also had a few issues with the airlines allowing me to carry on the Baby Taylor along with my laptop bag. So, I bought a Traveler Speedster to use as my travel guitar, especially if I'm traveling by air because it's smaller, and I can also use a headphone amp with it.
I'm really liking the Traveler Speedster alot. Here is a link to it:

I also bought a small headphone guitar amp from Korg to go with the Speedster. It has a built-in drum and bass pattern generator and amp modeler, etc. I can't say enough good things about this little box. It's amazing as a practice aid. I'm even using it for recording too. Here is a link to it:
