I applied earlier this week for a graphic designer position at a regional arts/culture magazine. I went through a couple of interviews, as well as completing several test jobs to gauge the quality of my work. This afternoon they offered me the job, which begins next week. In this market, I'm happy just to have a job, but this is actually a job I wanted and believe I will be very happy going to work every day to do. So yeah, this is shaping up to be a good weekend. I have a new job and later when I'm drunk from celebrating that, I have a new Tele to play.
Congrats. I'd love to see some of your work sometime.
