Definitely original.

In fact the only thing not original are the frets. I refretted it about three or four years ago and put in huge bass frets. Big frets are like having cruise control. They make it easy to play and, although I can't PROVE it, I KNOW it improves sustain and tone by adding mass to the neck.

It's an SGII and notice it doesn't have a pickup selector switch, it has sliders like a Mustang or a Jaguar. I believe it was an "entry level" guitar at the time although there's nothing "wrong" with it and it isn't "cheap" in regard to material.
Those minis are snappy pickups with bite without being harsh or brittle.
I should change the pots and (especially the) caps to really restore it to original specs. You know those things change value over time and need to be "freshened up"....

The ser# is 757578 and "Made in USA" is stamped.

Here's the nut. I hand cut it from a bone blank.

Here's a look at a few frets

Tuners

I just threw it outside and grabbed these pics. I know they aren't the best but just to illustrate a point.

Thanks.
