Fernandes Strat copy

Cool! I always liked the idea of a Fernandes strat, partly due to Billy Joe Armstrong's Blue #1 Fernandes strat copy that he used on their earlier stuff, which I always liked.

Of course, Blue wasn't a trad sss Strat, it was/is a Fat Strat with a humbucker in the bridge.

Seems like some of these "Ferny's" are becoming purdy
sought after..?

The MIJ Fernandes are the ones that are most sought after.

That said, I have a MIC Ravelle, and it's a great guitar. Congrats on your Strat!

But of course, you are correct sir! I still want a strat or strat copy I can mod up with at least a humbucker in the bridge, or maybe neck and bridge. Partly due to Blue. One of these looks cool for that purpose.

You might want to check out the Bare Knuckle 'Sinner' that is the size of a standard single coil but supposedly gives even good buckers a real run.
