Peavey Down For More Surgery
Well, the Peavey toofless bass is apart. The cheesey stamped stock bridge is going by way of the dinosaur, and in it's place, a nice, solid Schaller roller bridge will be taking up residence.
The stock elephant ear tuners, although they seem to do their job, are also being replaced. The substitutes are a set of Ovation by Schaller tuners that I got a super eBay deal on.
The nut appears to be in decent shape, and during the mid-Nineties when this bass was made, Hartley was using Graphlon, so this will stay.
