Hey guys, so i was recording today on my Zoom r16 (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-a...ace-controller) and i always recorded with dynamic mics. i hated the quality i got from them and came to my senses and wanted condensing mics. i got a bogo deal on a couple of Nady spec-15's (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-a...ser-microphone) I plugged them in the 5th and 6th to test each one. I hit the phantom power. i hit the on button to record. i did a sound check but no sound came out. i checked the chord (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/acces...crophone-cable) and i barely used the cord, and the mics are brand new. I dont know what the problem is with either one. Any tutorial, advice or quick fix? Since im asking about mics, whats the best pre-set options on the zoom to record for mics? Where to position and from mouth, how far away? best way to record mic-to-amp?
