NPD! JHS 3 Series Delay
I got my JHS 3 Series Delay in the mail. I'm quite happy with it, but it's definitely not going to be for everyone. The 3 Series pedals all have three knobs and a mode switch. The mode switch on the delay switches between digital repeats (up) and analog-style repeats (down). It has between 80-800ms of delay. It is great for me who just wants to use delay to make solos sound bigger. It's cool that in analog mode you can make all of those runaway crazy sounds with the repeats up and messing with the time knob.
If you need a tap tempo, look elsewhere. No looper either. The Edge fans probably need to look elsewhere. For me, though, the simplicity is a major selling point. It sounds great. It's got a nice metal chassis and good quality controls. For $99 it's a steal.
Hopefully my Notaklon will be arriving soon...
