"If it sounds good it is good."

"Its like I'm in the fourth dimension, and somebody's asking me to describe it verbally. And thats what the fourth dimension is about; no words, no symbols, no images, just pure real energy, and vibrations. And if I thought about how cruel of a world this is, I would probably commit suicide after awhile, if that was what I spent all my energy thinking about. I definitely wouldn't have strength to create music." -John Frusciante

"If you are feeling good about what you are doing, share it with others. Either in person or on YouTube. If you get alot of negative feedback don’t let it get you down."

Hey, I totally agree about relaxing. I think you also have to add a couple more to that list...
1. Practice clean, without distortion. It will really improve your picking technique. I thought this was overrated until I tried it. I was blown away by the results.
2. Listen to the sound that's coming from the amp, or the instrument if it's acoustic. I lot of people focus on what their fingers are doing, but that's not really the most important thing. How it SOUNDS is.
