I saw this pickguard and thought it might be the same one.

    Default Guard

    That looks just like mine.

Proline probably got theirs from the same source.

Anyway I thought it looked unique and was a good compliment to the Blizzard Pearl. Mine is of good quality.

The combination of the Blizzard Pearl, the pickguard and the maple neck is really nice. Well done and congrats!

    Default New Strat

Yeah, Syo, I thought the combination was just what I was looking for to blend into a great overall vibe that the white guard just doesn't contribute anything to.

The tech did it without charging me any labour and put on a new set of strings, even though the stock strings were okay straight from the factory.

There are a lot of great deals out there right now. Places trying to stay in business or just be able to compete during these tuff times to try to run a business that relies in large part on leisure or entertainment purchases made from expendable income; that a lot of people just don't have right now.

Now I'm trying to upgrade my LP and have been considering that new Epiphone LP Tribute to Les Paul. The puppy comes with grover locking tuners and upgraded electronics, switchcraft toggle, Gibson USA 57 Classic and Plus pickups, a substantial maple cap and a hard case; all for the price of a regular good Epi LP without the upgrades. Wonder if anyone knows anything about it.

That might be able to use a pickguard as well. I might start looking for something good, while I decide if I would like to just have it without the guard or put one on. I'm thinking that Tribute might be as well made or better than a low end Gibson LP and sound better too. No one around here has one to try, however. Anyone have any experience with the Tribute Epi LP?
