    I'll try to dig up a site that I once read that made all of this very clear.

    People tend to equate single ended with Class A and push/pull with Class A/B.

    The class and the ?mode? (single ended or push/pull) are independent concepts. Its just that Class A & single-ended are commonly found together as are Class A/B and push-pull.

    There are other classes of amplifiers C, D, E, F, G, & little class H.

    Thanks Tot_Ou_tard. I know alot of amps are described as Class A when they really aren't a true class A amp, I understand what a Class AB, push-pull amp is, it's just when I see a Class A push pull I get confused.
