    Default New Axeman from Beantown

What's up guys? I just joined up last night. I'm 30 years old, and live just south of Boston, Massachusetts. I've been playing since I was about 15 but only really got serious about it a few years ago.

Anyway I'm a "heavy hitter" on another really cool guitar forum; but I've been looking for a place where I'd have less notoriety and could just post and have fun. This place seems pretty cool to me.

I'm mostly interested in Blues Rock, Brit Invasion stuff, Jam Bands, and 90's grunge. Or at least those are most of the sounds that shaped me as a player, but I'm a fan of any GOOD artists regardless of the genre. I've been known to dig some Vince Gill, Megadeth, or Snoop Dogg too, for example.

So yeah, that's about it. Hoping to make some new friends and see what I can learn and contribute to the discussion.

Hey Boston dude! I ran Boston marathon in 2008. Might go back there in 2011.

Welcome to our really cool guitar forum. It's coolest one, really.

Welcome to the fold. I stumbled upon this as my first forum, and I have to say, it seems less angry than some other places. Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome! I've always wanted to visit Boston. I almost had the chance a few years ago when I was on the East Coast for a wedding in Philadelphia, but we ran out of time.

We all seem to have eclectic musical tastes here, so make yourself at home!
