another really good one.
I like that style, and wonder if any modern players follow in that style or sound. I know of course about George Benson, but I was wondering if there are any others.
Here are a couple vids as examples:

My honest opinion there is no one alive playing that compares to Wes............... or im drawing a blank
I love Wes Montgomery! Of all the Jazz guitarists out there, he has the best sound and best style to my ears. I never get tired of listening to him. His tone and overall feel is so interesting. I don't know of any players who do only the Wes Montgomery thing but there are a lot of guys that were very influenced by him.
Lee Ritenour did a whole album that was a tribute to Wes since he was such a big influence on his playing.
Eric Johnson was also a big Wes Montgomery fan. Check out this song called "Manhattan" where he does a great Wes Montgomery style
Nice vids JP
Yep.Eric definitely put some meat in the style.many moons ago when living in Chicago I saw Weather Report Live.they're jazz fusion.the lead player did have sounds much like Wes.just good stuff.liked Pat Metheny also
Life is like a camera, just focus on what’s important and capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don’t work out, just take another shot. ~ Anonymous
