The rebirth of the Fullerton
As part of my new project-ing, I am putting a little time and dough into my oldest son's Fullerton strat copy I got him 7 or 8 years ago when we all bought them for cheap. His is the SSS model. I have ordered a new nut, a GFS solid steel trem, and some cosmetic odds and ends. And I plan to take the Duncan Designed Hot Rails, and related electronics, out of the PG from a Squier Deluxe Hot Rails i hope to get to mod into an HH guitar using the leftover parts from my new strat plus some new pots and a switch. So his SSS Fully will lose the original electronics and pups, and get upgraded. I just took the strings off and straightened the neck some (over bowed it was), and checked the frets which are in good shape still. It is a pretty nice little starting place for a project! Anyhow, the rebirth of the Fully!
