    Default Ngd coming soon!!!!!!!

So I pulled the trigger today on a 2009 Les Paul Studio Deluxe on Ebay. Not where I usually buy axes from but couldn't resist. Hopefully it's here by the weekend and I'll post some pics as soon as I can!!!!

Really nice guitar! So is that the watered-down Maker's Mark, or some older stuff??

I mean, no offense, but I don't really see why, like guitar players from Creed, or something like that, are on the cover of guitar magazines. Almost anybody can sit down and learn to play those songs.

she friggin screams!!! love playing her. the '60's neck fits perfect and i'm digging the coil split option. Tig, the grain was a huge plus for me but I've had GAS for this axe for a couple years now and I had the money and it was available at the same time. Nuff said!!!!

ok now that i've had a chance to play it a bit, here is my very amateur review. First off, the 60's neck is exactly what i've been looking for, it just fits, better than anything else I've played so far. Action is super low with zero buzz and no fret out. My only complaint is the fret ends are a bit rough, but I'll have them touched up at her spring tune-up. Pickups, the 490r in the neck is a bit blah for me, i might have to put another burstbucker up there or one of my sd-aph1's. The burstbucker pro in the bridge however, is the bees knees to my ears, hot full of bite, and really nasty overdriven. The split coil option is real cool too, but it's not going to replace my strat for single coil tones, but they sound pretty good just not IT. I might have to put speed knobs on because the top hats are a bit clumsy trying to pull em up on the fly. All and all, I am extremely happy with it. Hopefully it keeps my GAS under control for a hot minute.
