How'd you get the church gig?

Keep us updated -- I think the soap-opera band stories are fun.

Indeed. All part of being in a band. I really want to write up a personal band history, if only for myself, one day. So much so that I even have a title for this book that will most probably never exist: "I Was a Middle-Aged Volkswagen (And Other True Stories)."

How'd you get the church gig?

Uh...I played for free and mentioned a diminished 7th chord in passing. I think that was enough for the guy to assume I was good enough for their needs.
