    Jipes, "hand wound 1969 neck pickup, hand wound reverse-wound/reverse-polarity 1965 middle pickup and hand wound Fat '60s bridge pickup, with five-way switching and Vintage Modified wiring for modern versatility. "

    Ted, it's a 1967 style Stratocaster and they had such headstocks then, I reckon? I am not really sure though.

    It was factory relic'd.

    Interesting - I thought that 'vintage modified' was a Squier thing... but now that I think of it, my SuperChamp xd is also labelled 'vintage modified'...
