Tim - thanks for the link. I picked up a good home recording reference at Amazon a couple of weeks ago. It's called "Guerilla Home Recording: How To Get Great Sound From Any Studio" - shipped to my door for around $20 bones. Some very good reading for anyone who is just starting to get into home recording (like me!). Here's the link:

Tim,
Wow, this site looks like a fantastic resource for home recording. There's a ton of stuff to read about covering nearly every aspect of the process. Thanks for sending that along. I'm going to start reading through some of the stuff and see if it's helpful.

I've been going to that site for some time now but it's almost too much. It's like going into a library. So many words - so little time. I guess that is what coffee is for. Glad you brought it up to everyone's attention though. Now find that site that makes us all wealthy and respected musicians...ya, that's the ticket.

Ha! Tele-ish now inbound.
Music make you wealthy? Your are so wrong, Lotto is the way. Just check out this wild dude. He probably havenĀ“t struck a power chord in his entire life and yet he is surrounded by two gorgeus (!?) babes and loads of cash! lol
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
