But really, I thank you for putting up the info on the Godin. It is such a striking looking guitar and one that I can't wait to try out.
I am always hesitant to recommend something just because I like it. It may be because I come from another planet & I'm used to people not understanding my ways. As a barbarian in Japan you should be able to relate.

I'm looking forward to hearing your reactions to the 5th Ave.

    Default Namm 2009

    Anyone going there? Mark Wein?

Don from www.Mackamps.com will be there with all his cool Mack amps. If you are there, be sure to go there and try them. I'm curious to see what others think of the Mack amps.

I'd love to go to NAMM sometime. Seems like there would be a lot of drooling to do. Might be worth bringing a bib or apron to drool on.

Yes, I'll be there. In fact, taking a break from packing right now. I'll check out the Mack Amps. They must be good because when I clicked on their link,
their "virtuoso tone" nearly blew my head off. Guess my speakers were a tad high maybe...
Frankly I am already tired thinking about the 24 hours it will take me to get to So. California but once there, NAMM is definitely drool worthy.
    That reminds me...pack bib...
    Thanks Robert

Sorry, I messed up and posted a redundant 2nd thread about this topic, so I just merged the two...

I like the amph to brother.I like suhr guitars and know they are great guitars .That being said I personally hate the headstock:

Just my silly opinion as they are quality fo-sho:
"I love being alive and I will be the best man I possibly can. I will take love wherever I find it and offer it to whoever will take it... seek knowledge from those wiser and teach those who wish to learn from me."
"Develop your talent, man, and leave the world something. Records are really gifts from people. To think that an artist would love you enough to share his music with anyone is a beautiful thing."
    Duane Skydog Allman

Check out the videos (and photos) from Fender @ NAMM - The one with Greg Koch and Friends has some great playing and he appears to be playing thru one of the new amps - the Band-Master one - very nice - more GAS for those running low :

I hope I never meet a real hedgehog that aggressive, I take it they weren't thinking of Mrs. Tiggywinkle during the design process

Hedgehog, huh? Wonder how much that one will cost. Shure looks like a bit of a monster, eh?
